Tribute to Jervy Cruz
This was first shown at the annual "Pack Night".
The Appreciation Dinner for the whole Growling Tigers Team was held last October 11, 2008 at the Prestige Towers in Ortigas.
A Tribute to the "Amazing" UST-MVT
The Youtube video was created as tribute to the amazing run of UST Men's
Volleyball Team in the 70th UAAP Season. Tiger Pack is proud to have seen
and been part of this victory which many then considered impossible having
to face a very formidable 3-peat champion FEU squad.
But the boys, mostly sophomores, proved that their hearts are bigger
and hungrier than anyone else's in the league come game three of the finals.
Tiger Pack, along with other Thomasians on the sidelines,
likewise couldn't express it more as up high,
they persistently held placards that read
"PUSO".
And as if to affirm their heart and will to win,
the boys tapped their chests with their fists out unto the crowd.
After an almost gruelling fifth set,
the UST Men's Volleyball Team emerged victorious,
finally ending a three-year title drought.
The video was first shown during the appreciation asalto organized by
the group both for the UST Men's and Women's Volleyball Teams.
With Seal's "Amazing" and "Campione" by E-Type (a signature UST theme
popularized by UST Salinggawi and UST Symphony Orchestra) as background tracks,
the video chronicles the journey of the UST Spikers
round up till the finals. It includes photos and video footages mostly
produced by members of the Pack.
