for Thomasian Student-Athletes
What, exactly, is the Tiger Pack?
Tiger Pack is a Thomasian alumni support group for Thomasian student-athletes. It was formed sometime in December 2006, in response to a growing clamor for a more active Thomasian alumni support for our beloved student-athletes, who has tirelessly given us pride and honor throughout the years. Recently, UST has again captured the UAAP General Championships after dominating both the Junior's and Senior's Division. It is the 35th Overall Championship for UST.
Tiger Pack was conceptualized sometime in November 2006 via an online forum.
The Tiger Pack, for starters, has supported the Thomasian student-athletes in volleyball, tennis, football, baseball, basketball and cheerdance competitions in the UAAP.
The support has spilled over other leagues outside the UAAP, e.g. Shakey's V-League, National Collegiate Champions League, Philippine Volleyball Federation, etc. They provide moral support from the stands by: cheering, making banners and tarpaulins (including the 30-meter long "Kami Po Ang University of Santo Tomas" and "CAMPIONE" banners), providing elongated yellow balloons and leading the crowd in singing our school hymn with gusto after every game, and complementing the UST Yellow Jackets (the official university pep squad) in cheering and in the singing of the UST Hymn.
Tiger Pack just recently held its second annual Tiger Pack Party.
The group eventuall plans to extend its support to ALL the sports included in the UAAP, as well as to make itself available for any help it could do for the alma mater.
Tiger Pack is still in its infancy.
This is why we encourage Thomasian alumni, current students, faculty and non-facutly members to join, and in the process, have a chance to take a more active role in supporting our student-athletes.
This is our chance to be more than just mere spectators; this is our chance to make a difference in the lives of our players, for them to realize that all their sacrifices and hardwork are being recognized and appreciated.
Tiger Pack , the first Thomasian alumni support group for the Thomasian student-athletes, was conceptualized and established in 2006, for the purpose of cheering and supporting the Thomasian student-athletes in the UAAP wars.
It has continued to provide support not just from the stands, but has extended its help to the student-athletes even off the court. As the member-base continues to grow, so does the group's ideals. With active participation from the Thomasian students and alumni alike, from Manila to Montreal, from Tondo to Toronto, slowly but surely, the future of our student-athletes looks a lot brighter.

Tiger Pack's primary purpose:
* To engage in non-profit and civic activities to support the athletes of the University of Santo Tomas;
* uplift the standard of Thomasian sports;
* to assist in enhancing the physical, moral and spiritual conditions of the Thomasian athletes;
* to help them become physically prepared, socially responsible, and spiritually mature;
* to foster, promote and encourage sportsmanship, camaraderie, loyalty and the improvement of the well-being of its members through sports and related activities
as well as physical fields and in the humanities;
* to achieve the promotion of the UST as its alma mater, the Thomasian sports and its athletes, as well as Thomasian alumni organizations through financial support, grants, scholarships, donations, and other forms of financial aid out of the funds of the Association.

We hope that Thomasians join the Tiger Pack family, and help the Thomasian student-athletes as they continue to give prestige, pride and honor to our alma mater.
